Dedicated to teaching athletic skills as well as confidence, teamwork, creativity, and discipline through
the sport of artistic swimming.
Formerly known as Woodstock Triple C Synchro, the Riptide Artistic Swimming Club has recently changed its name in order to align with the new name of its sport. The club was established in 1996 and has been teaching artistic (synchronized) swimming in the town of Woodstock ever since.
The swimmers drew inspiration for our new name from Greek mythology. Riptide is the prized sword of Percy Jackson, gifted to him by his father Poseidon. In the stories, Riptide derives its incredible power from the ocean, so it's a fitting symbol for the club. Along with the name comes a beautiful new logo which captures our athletes' complex athleticism and tremendous artistry!
While the presence of male artistic swimmers and artistic swimmers with disabilities is still limited in New Brunswick, the Riptide Artistic Swimming Club is very open to having anyone interested in the sport come by the pool and give it a try!
